1. Cold

This podcast is about the disappearance of Susan Powell. Dave Cawley hosts the podcast, and investigates the circumstances surrounding her mysterious vanishing. This podcast is absolutely fantastic. I finished it probably with in a week. It'll have you on the edge of your seat and itching for the next episode. Oh yeah, and the ending? Nobody was expecting that.

2. Hit Man

Hit Man: A Technical Manual for Independent Contractors. That's right, a book about how to be a contract killer. This podcast investigates what in the heck this book is, what's inside, and why on earth it exists. This podcast has awesome interviews with law enforcement, and is just overall fascinating.

3. Dirty John

Dating over 50 is hard. It's even harder when the man you love is a complete PSYCHO. This is the incredible story of a woman and her daughters, and how they (barely) lived through a real-life nightmare. This podcast is true crime, even though what you will hear will be hard to believe. So hold on to your butts and enjoy this roller-coaster ride of a story.

4. Up and Vanished

Payne Lindsey hosts this investigative series about the disappearance of two women (each season is a new case). He's an amazing journalist, and his work is amazing. The stories are captivating and terrifying. You'll find yourself thinking about the cases, and trying to solve them all the time.

5. Happy Face

Melissa Moore has a queasy feeling when she thinks about the weird things that happened when she was a child. Is it possible that her dad is actually the happy face killer? This podcast is chocked full of raw emotion, jaw-dropping discoveries, and major suspense. Once you start listening, you won't be able to stop.

6. Dr. Death

We trust doctors with our lives–literally. But not all doctors are worthy of this trust. This is the incredible true story of a doctor who ruined people's lives with botched surgeries, and the doctors and law enforcement that worked tirelessly to clean up his mess and hold him accountable for his crimes. This podcast will have you background-checking every doctor you see for the rest of your life (which may not be a bad thing...).

7. Dateline

I mean, can you get anymore iconic? Dateline is absolutely amazing. There are so many episodes so you won't run out of episodes anytime soon. The journalism is above and beyond, not to mention, the stories are incredible. I started listening to Dateline in early January, and I've loved every episode.

Hope you all have some new ideas of what to listen to, thanks for reading!
